Gordon B. Hinckley

President Gordon B. Hinckley, was the cutest man, and had such a great love for the Lord and every member of this church. His service and accomplishments have been amazing. He is the prophet I will forever remember. He has guided me through the words of the Lord and by example in so many ways in my life. I had the opportunity to see him in year 2006 and 2007 at the 1st Presidency Christmas Devotional, which was just fabulous. The spirit is undenyable and so strong when he is present. He always lite up the room with his gentle smile, his calming voice, and darling personality. How great that must have been for him to finally be with his darling wife again. They were the cutest little love birds I have ever seen. I hope one day I may have that same courtship that those two had for all eterenity. I cannot wait for that day. President Hinckley is the prophet that helped me know for myself that this is the one and only true church on the face of this earth, he helped me believe that I have a great purpose here on this earth, and I could feel the Lord's love for each and every one of us through the words he would speak at every conference or devotional. I love Gordon B. Hinckley so much, and will forever be thankful for him for everything he has done for this church, and for me personally.

From Me to You

*The Gift of Trust*
"Trust is fostered at the place the moment, when we are no longer putting our energy into defending our position. One of the greatest gifts we can give to each other is to be a safe place when opinions and feelings can be aired without fear of being condemned or shunned. Once we are really heard, we will naturally shift our own accord. On the other hand, if our defensiveness is increased, then most of our energy will be put into defending rather then considering other possibilities."

Park City...

Park City is gorgeous!

My family and Brian and Pam's family just arrived home from an amazing time hitting the slopes at Park City. The snow was wonderful, and my mom and I are getting better every time we go, considering 3 years ago we found ourselves taking lessons with the "Never Ever" group. We have come a long way. I look forward to doing this every year because it's something my whole family enjoys that we can all do together.

Getting warmed up in the hot tubs.

Playing games with the boys. We were having such a BLAST!

This is our model shot. We are concerns!

Posing on the snow after a long day of skiing and snowboarding.

This trip we do every winter is so much fun. We ski, play games, play pool, football in the semi-cold pool, hang out in the hot tubs, play guitar hero, talk, eat, shop, and just enjoy being together.

A Miracle

On January 12, 2008 at 2:49 a.m. My best friend, Kelsey Shuey had a gorgeous little baby girl . She weighs 7.1 pounds and is 19 in. long, they named her Olivia Shuey, she has so much black hair it is absolutely darling! I got the chance to see Olivia being born, which is the most precious thing, Alexis and I were just a crying. It was so touching.
That evening they found out she had pneumonia, and she was put in the ICU for about 7 days. We all want her to get better fast and come home.

This whole experience was the most amazing thing to be apart of. She is a beautiful little miracle.

Chillin at Sundance

I went up with Shannon, Boston and the babies to watch Boston take snowboarding lessons at Sundance. While he took lessons us four just chilled in the snow and in the lodge. Boston did fabulous! He is so talented. I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was up there. It made me want to go skiing so bad! I can't wait to hit the slopes.

Afterwards we all went out to Chilis for a little fun Family Night. It was so much fun, I love being with Shannon and her little family. They are so good to me, and I love them all to death.

Snow Basin

Me and Garrison met Brian and Pam's family and my family up to Snow Basin for a few days. We played games and just hung out with each other. We had to leave on Monday, but my family attempted to ski but it was way too cold. We had such a great time. It was also Brain and Pam's Birthday, Happy Birthday to you both. Love ya.

Christmas Day, Hooray!!!

My new Camera, Yeah!

I am a spaz!

Here we are Rockin' out to Dakota and Chase's Rock Band. Gigi was singing "Mississippi Queen" it was Halarious!

Christmas morning is so much fun. My mom makes us all line up from oldest to youngest on the stairs and come down one at a time to see what Santa brought us. We have been doing this since I can remember. EsDee got an Ipod and Guitar Hero that we have been just a rockin' out to. It is such a blast! McCall got a new mattress and a darling bedspread for her new room. I got my XT Cannon camera that I have wanted forever. Watch out, I am constantly going to be taking pics. My mom also made me a huge silk blanket. Garrison got an Iphone and a down comforter. My mom got a huge picture of "The Last Supper", and my dad got some new shoes, some clothes, and a George Foreman. We all got so spoiled!

The rest of the day we went around to a few houses and chilled the rest of the day. Later that evening I went to a party with Shad and his family. We had a fabulous holiday. It was a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We are all just a matchin in our new p.j.'s, some things never change.

I love Christmas Eve. We have the funnest traditions! My parents cooked a huge dinner and my Grandpa and Grandma Brems came over to eat and open up a few gifts with us. This year we had prime rib, and about 10 other things to go along with it. It was delicious! After we ate we opened our gifts from the person of the name we drew. McCall gave me an Ihome for my Ipod and a darling black pearl necklace. I had Garrison and gave him an Ipod shuffle. We also opened up our p.j.'s and just enjoyed each others company for the rest of the evening, until it was time to go get in bed for Santa.

Soldier Hollow...

A few days after Christmas my sisters and I all headed up to Soldier Hollow with Shannon and her kids to go tubing. It was kind of cold, but so much fun. We took the babies down twice, but they really didn't enjoy it, maybe next year they will have more fun. Afterwards we went to Chilis to warm up and stuff our faces with some delicious food and dessert. Yummy! We also went back to Shannon's and jammed out on their Rock Band, which I am terrible at. I failed out with singing 3 times, which is a huge concern.
